NMSU Faculty Brass Quintet

It is rumored that the  NMSU Faculty Brass Quintet was formed around 1907, but it probably was more akin to a brass band. Currently it is composed of current and former NMSU music faculty members. The quintet has played in venues around the globe: In 2001 they toured Germany performing concerts and master classes as part of The Pride Bands trip to Europe. In 2006 they toured Colombia with the NMSU Wind Ensemble for the United States Department of State. While in Colombia, the quintet performed for over 25,000 people at the national band festival and gave educational classes in Bogotá and Paipa.
